The duration of the project is 2 years.<\/h3>\n<p>The aim of the FUTURBINE project is to support Aurelia\u2019s growth strategy by demonstrating\u00a0the fuel flexibility performance of Aurelia\u00ae A400 in an operational environment, by optimizing the company\u2019s value chain and integrator partner model and by continuing commercialization activities for global market entry.<\/p>\n<p>Small-scale processes and SME factories are a key part of Europe\u2019s economy and employment, with over 20 million companies, such as dairies, breweries, small chemical facilities and building materials factories, that\u00a0consume over 20 % of the total energy in the EU.\u00a0Currently there is no economically feasible decentralised solution in the market for their capacity range and need for high-temperature steam. So, 90 % of these SME factories use inefficient energy systems with high emissions.\u00a0Aurelia\u00aeA400 is a new innovative\u00a0gas turbine with two shafts designed to\u00a0fill\u00a0this market gap.<\/p>\n<p>The Aurelia turbines can be used with different kind of fuel, such as hydrogen, biogas, syngas\u00a0and natural gas.<\/p>\n<p>Horizon 2020 is the largest EU Research and Innovation program, that aims to secure Europe&#8217;s global competitiveness.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/greenreality.mauri.posso.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/eu-lippu_ja_teksti.jpg\" style=\"width: 917px; height: 83px;\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aurelia Turbines has been granted 2 million euros of funding\u00a0by the EU&#8217;s Horizon 2020 program\u00a0for its FUTURBINE project.
