These products accelerate the transition towards zero emissions.<\/p>\n<p>The power range of permanent magnet machines, frequency converters, and high-speed motors based on massive rotor technology is 200 kW \u2013 12 MW. The installed base has a capacity of over 24 GW and consists of environmentally friendly megawatt-class electric drive technology that the company has supplied to leading energy pioneers worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The Switch\u2019s factories in Finland are located in Lappeenranta and Vaasa. The Lappeenranta factory is one of the world\u2019s largest testing facilities for renewable energy power converters and permanent magnet generators, with a testing capacity of up to 18 MW. Additionally, the company has operations in China and Norway.<\/p>\n<p>The Japanese BEMAC Corporation acquired The Switch in 2024, providing the company with opportunities for continuous product development and innovation.
