The company\u2019s range of products includes two product families: solar energy systems and energy storage solutions: The ultra-thin and flexible solar film collects twice the amount of energy compared to traditional silicon-based solar panels. Solid-state salt batteries are manufactured by printing from nanofluid, which enables the efficient use of space and the production of batteries in varying shapes.<\/p>\n

The number of times the batteries can be recharged is exceptionally high, says Pia Erkinheimo<\/strong>, Nordic Nano\u2019s Partner, Chief Corporate Relations and ESG Officer.<\/p>\n Nordic Nano\u2019s operations are based on advanced domestic and European nanomaterial and manufacturing technology, with sustainable development at its core.<\/p>\n \u2013 The solutions we offer reduce environmental strain and maintain natural biodiversity. We don\u2019t use toxic material or rare-earth metals. The goal for the longer term is for our products to be carbon negative.<\/p>\n Nordic Nano stands out from its competitors by combining high performance and sustainability. In addition to this, the price level of the products is competitive compared to other solutions available on the market.<\/p>\n \u2013 Thanks to the screenprinting technology, our solar film is lighter, more efficient and highly versatile. The batteries boast a lengthy service life when measured by number of charging cycles, Erkinheimo continues.<\/p>\n Nordic Nano will launch industrial production in 2026. The goal is to directly employ more than 50 people within three years.
