ISS Oy has <\/span>acquired shares in electricity production companies with <\/span>the aim of strengthening its own electricity production <\/span>and competitiveness in the electricity market in the long <\/span>term.<\/span><\/p>\n Membership of the Greenreality Network <\/span>provides contacts with environmental and energy <\/span>expertise in the region, where the Lappeenranta University <\/span>of Technology is among the best in Finland.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2013 Through expertise and innovations, we can promote <\/span>sustainable development, says Managing Director <\/span>Ari Saukkonen<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n ISS Oy sells electricity in both Finland and Estonia. In <\/span>Estonia, business operations are managed by the ISS Oy <\/span>subsidiary Imatra Elekter AS. Both companies are ISO 14001 certified, steering the companies\u2019 operations in a more environmentally-sound direction. ISS Oy guides its customers in the use of sustainable development practices by providing them with tools to improve, for example, their energy-efficiency. One such tool is the Wattis online service, which the customers can use to monitor their electricity consumption.<\/p>\n Our green electricity comes from hydroelectric and wind power. Customers can choose low-emission and ecological energy produced entirely from renewable energy sources.
